Battery Charging USB

Warning

Only use power supplies that have a CE certification and provide a minimum of 500mA/5V.

Upon delivery, the battery of the device may not be fully charged. Please charge the battery before first use.

  1. Plug in the provided USB cable into the device USB-C port.

  2. Plug the USB cable into a USB power supply (minimum 500mA/5V) or into a computers USB port.

  3. If used: plug the power supply into a power outlet.

  4. The battery percentage can be checked with the Batlogger Control App. The charging time can take several hours, depending on the state of charge and the power supply used.

Tip

To perform a quick charge, use the supplied USB-C cable together with a fast-charging USB-C power supply that delivers at least 3A.

Solar panel

Use our adapter cable for external power supplies to connect a solar panel directly to the BATLOGGER C2.

Use a solar panel with:

  • nominal voltage 12VDC

  • MPPT 18VDC

  • VOC max 26VDC

  • power 5-20W

12V battery

  1. Use our adapter cable for external power supplies to connect a 12V battery directly to the BATLOGGER C2.

  2. Open the BATLOGGER Control App and toggle the “power adapter” setting for external 12V batteries (or external power adapter)

Battery deep discharge protection is at 10.4V Charging starts again at a minimum of 11.5V

  1. Connect the power supply to the BATLOGGER C2

  2. Plug the power supply into a power outlet.

First steps

Power-On

To power the device on for the first time, you need to connect it to a power source through the USB port.

  1. Connect the C2 to a power source (computer or usb plug)

  2. Press the _images/power-standby.png key for about 3 seconds to turn on the device.

Open App

Open the App on your Smartphone (if you don’t have the App, see Download BATLOGGER Control App)
